Former Booneville basketball coach to be sentenced on Wednesday for sex crimes against minors
SUMMARY: Kenny Paul Geno, a former Division I basketball player and high school coach, pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of minors. He convinced an underage girl to send him nude photos and recorded a sexual act with another minor. The actions occurred between May 2019 and September 2023, during his tenure at Booneville High School. Geno, who played at the University of Georgia, was charged and removed from his coaching positions. He faces up to 30 years in prison and is awaiting sentencing.
