Flood Recovery continues in Ackerman

Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) has assessed the property but has yet to provide any assistance. Most residents in the area are disabled and are struggling to find a solution. The EMA director is waiting to see if a state of emergency will be declared to provide funds for assistance.
