Five people arrested in connection with felony drug possession
SUMMARY: Five individuals were arrested following a drug raid by Tupelo police and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit on September 24. The search of a residence on Crabapple Drive resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of heroin and methamphetamine. Among those arrested were 23-year-old Amber Pope and 26-year-old Andelyn Wheelington, charged with possession of heroin, and 18-year-old Tyra Rogers, charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell and methamphetamine possession. Two others, 31-year-old Arrington Dancy and 29-year-old Jaquette Simmons, face multiple trafficking charges. Bond amounts vary, with Dancy and Simmons held without bond.

Two Louisiana women charged with aggravated assault in Mississippi
