SUMMARY: The 2025 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is nearing its conclusion, with the winner set to be announced live on air. Mississippi Department of Transportation holds conference to provide updates on road projects
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) held a maintenance conference with over 200 employees, where Executive Director Brad White shared updates on road projects. Nearly every highway in South Mississippi is undergoing construction to improve or repair infrastructure. White emphasized the need for a state budget agreement to continue projects, assuring taxpayers that 97% of the budget directly funds road improvements.
Over 200 MDOT maintenance employees across the state had a chance to hear some updated information at an annual maintenance conference.
