SUMMARY: D’Monterrio Gibson, the FedEx driver who claimed he was chased and shot at by two white men in Lincoln County, has been fired from his job, according to his attorney Carlos Moore. Gibson learned about his termination via email yesterday, although Moore claims the company had tried to contact Gibson prior to that. FedEx states that Gibson was fired because he did not accept a part-time, non-courier job that the company offered him in mid-July. This announcement follows a recent mistrial declaration in Gibson’s case.
