Fearful Maine residents remain behind locked doors on day 2 of search for mass killing suspect
SUMMARY: Maine residents are in shock and fear as police and FBI agents search for Robert Card, an Army reservist who allegedly shot and killed 18 people at a bowling alley and a bar. The search focused on a property belonging to one of Card’s relatives, but it is unclear if the suspect has ever been at the location. Authorities have not revealed how many guns were used or how they were obtained. Schools and public buildings remain closed, and the community is reeling from the tragedy. Card is still on the loose after more than a day since the shootings took place.
