Families frustrated after items removed from Pearl cemetery plots
SUMMARY: Families with loved ones buried at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, Mississippi, are upset after finding flower arrangements, flags, solar lights, and memorabilia removed from gravesites. Cemetery management explained that signs had been posted for years indicating only the use of vases provided on tombstones to facilitate grass cutting. Shelby Puderer and Jackie Messer both expressed frustration, describing the removal process as disrespectful and hurtful, particularly on sensitive dates like anniversaries of death. Messer mentioned she was unaware of the signs, otherwise, she would have complied with the rules.
