Excitement growing for Serengeti Springs

SUMMARY: In April of 2022, the Hattiesburg Convention Commission announced that a brand new attraction, Serengeti Springs, was being constructed in the Pine Belt. The opening of Serengeti Springs was pushed back multiple times, but it’s now set to open in the summer of 2024. Mayor Toby Barker said that Serengeti Springs will be a great way to stay cool during the summer and will enhance the quality of life for families. Ticket sales for the summer opening began on Black Friday, and more information can be found on the Hattiesburg Zoo website.

The countdown is on for the opening of Serengeti Springs in the summer of 2024, but it is still a long way from being done.
