Man, woman charged in Vicksburg domestic violence incident

Vicksburg man sentenced for robbing Rankin County Dollar General

SUMMARY: De’Anthony RaShad Smith, a 27-year-old man from Vicksburg, was convicted of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in Rankin County, Mississippi. Smith, who previously a conviction for aggravated robbery in , pleaded guilty after robbing a Dollar General store on September 8, 2023. He was to 45 years for armed robbery, five years for conspiracy, and ten years for firearm possession. Surveillance footage captured the robbery, and apprehended him shortly after with the stolen money and weapon.
