Drier and warmer weather moves into Central Alabama for the week ahead
SUMMARY: This morning features mostly dry conditions as rain diminishes, with good visibility reported from various sky cams. Current temperatures are around 73 degrees, with Gadsden reaching near 70 and some breaks in the clouds. Spotty showers may occur but widespread rain is unlikely. Today’s highs are expected to reach 82 in Birmingham, with even warmer temperatures of 85 in Attalla and 86 in Jacksonville. Tomorrow will see further drying, with summer-like temperatures persisting through the middle and later parts of the week, with highs in the upper 80s expected Wednesday through Friday.

Mobile nonprofit opens pantry for pet owners in need

Montgomery mayor praises infrastructure initiative, Montgomery Forward
