SUMMARY: Development is progressing at the corner of Pops Ferry and Pass Road, with the Rouse’s store under construction and a sign now affixed to the building. Chick-fil-A is also planning to open a location at the corner of Pass and Nelson, pending approval from Buxy’s Planning Commission. Seven oak trees currently on the lot may need to be relocated or cut down. Developers have shown a willingness to move some trees to the Rouse’s parking lot. The application and tree survey are still pending. A public hearing will be held to gather community input before a final decision is made.

Construction continues on the new Rouses, and the new Chick-fil-A is still in the planning phase.
