County Road Manager, Mike Aldridge, retires
SUMMARY: Lowndes County, Mississippi, is looking to fill an important position following the retirement of County Road Manager Mike Aldridge. Aldridge, who served just over two years in the role, had also retired previously as Assistant Road Manager before being rehired when former Road Manager Ronnie Burns retired. The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors praised Aldridge for leaving the department in excellent condition. LCBS President Trip Hairston expressed regret over his departure, emphasizing the Road Department’s vital role in the county. The Supervisors will soon begin advertising for Aldridge’s replacement as he plans to leave at the end of the month.
