Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba will be hosting an event Tuesday evening to hear from the community about Jackson’s water crisis.
He invited a number of officials to the event, including Gov. Tate Reeves, though no one other than the mayor was confirmed to be attending in a news release sent out by the city shortly after the announcement was made at Lumumba’s weekly news conference.
The community meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday at College Hill Baptist Church, located at 1600 Florence Ave.
