SUMMARY: In the first week of college football season, all the Magnolia State’s programs, including Millsaps Majors, are preparing to take the field. The team had their final preparations with a walk-through practice. They will be led by interim head coach Corey York this season, following the departure of Isaac Carter. York, a former all-conference player for Mississippi College, is instilling his leadership qualities into the Majors program. He aims to incorporate the best practices he has learned from past coaches and players. York emphasizes fighting ability, pushing through, and sticking to core principles as measures of success for the team.

The Majors of Millsaps return to the gridiron for their 2023 campaign. This year they will be led by interim head coach Cory York. York has been on staff since 2019 and is a former all-conference player from Mississippi College. Coach York is building this program on simple yet effective principles that he believes will them to success this year. The Majors will try to get at least 5 or more wins for the first time since 2019.
