SUMMARY: The Mississippi College men’s basketball team is starting their season, with head coach Randy Bolden entering his third season. The team’s biggest addition is Bolden’s son, Rashad, who has won multiple state titles and previously played for USM and McNeese State. Coach Bolden is excited to coach his son and appreciates having him on the team. The Choctaws made their first postseason games since 1996 last year, but Coach Bolden is determined to win championships and is committed to working hard to achieve that.

The Choctaws of Mississippi College are entering year three under Randy Bolden. He led them to their first postseason since 1996 last year. The head coach is satisfied with the one trip to the playoffs. He’s about winning championships and with his son joining the team the Choctaws could get another step closer to those coveted titles.

A high-pressure system will move in by Thursday, bringing well-above-average temperatures. Heat indices may reach 107–110 degrees by Friday, especially west of I-55 in Mississippi.
