Kyle Shepard, a member of the coalition, says that once you see a hummingbird, you'll want to see more. He describes hummingbirds as sort of mystical, and a lot of people are attracted to them. The Banding Coalition of the Americas is constantly watching for the tiny hummingbirds and is hoping to attract more people to birding through their celebration.
