Single-vehicle crash claims the life of an Aliceville man

Rice, 61, died in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, October 12, around 9:28 p.m. He was driving a 2006 Toyota Tundra when it overturned on Franconia Road, near Mount Calvary Road, approximately two miles south of Carrollton limits in Pickens County. Rice was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Alabama Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the incident.
