Civil War enthusiasts gathering for 160th anniversary of Brice’s Crossroads
SUMMARY: Civil War enthusiasts are preparing for the 160th anniversary of the Battle of Bryce’s Crossroads, to be held from Saturday through Monday at Bryce’s Crossroads National Battlefield. Living historians gathered at the Mississippi Final Stands Interpretive Center near Baldwin, showcasing cannon artillery, flags, and skirmish demonstrations. The weekend will feature two full reenactments: one depicting the Battle of Bryce’s Crossroads on Saturday and another depicting the Battle of Tupelo on Sunday.
