City of Hattiesburg 'youth' track program expanding this year

SUMMARY: The Hattisburg Parks and Recreation Department is introducing a new adaptive track program for children ages 5 through 12 with disabilities, starting in April. Registration is open at the Ben McNair Center, with in-person registration available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until March 20th. The program is part of the regular youth track season, but will be inclusive of children with various abilities, such as those in wheelchairs, with hearing impairments, or Down syndrome.
