Oak Leaf Drive home damaged by fire

Woman charged with kidnapping two Vicksburg children
SUMMARY: Ronneisha Evans was arrested in Slidell, Louisiana on Monday for two charges of kidnapping. She is accused of kidnapping 3-year-old Tamerikaya Rawlings and 5-year-old Benyaaqob Rawlings from Vicksburg. The arrest was made without incident. SUMMARY: In August, 20 potential entrepreneurs in Lee County pitched their business ideas to a panel of judges. From there, the selection was narrowed down to a final four. Each business owner had the opportunity to explain why they believed their small business would make a difference. The businesses included a party rental company, a salad bar, a barber shop for hair loss, and nerdesign med cart LLC, which won the grand prize. The winning business, owned by April Culvert, has patented a product that makes nurses' jobs easier by compartmentalizing Med carts. Culvert received a small seed fund and temporary space in the Renaissance Center for her business.
