Camp Shelby museum vehicles to get a sprucing up
SUMMARY: Mayor Barker has announced that roads around Jones headquarters will be up for bid in a few months. Additionally, the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum at Camp Shelby will soon be giving a major makeover to historic military vehicles. The museum will focus on exhibits covering the Mississippi’s contributions during the years of 1941-1945 and plans to make changes to its sections on early Mississippi history. The museum is also planning to host special events, including the annual Military Retiree Day and a ceremony to honor fallen heroes on Memorial.
