Buc-ee’s breaks ground on first Mississippi location
SUMMARY: Buc-ee's has started construction on its first location in Mississippi, with plans for the travel center to be open within 16 months. The center, located in Harrison County, will span 74,000 square feet and include 120 fueling stations and 24 electric vehicle charging stations. Buc-ee's President Beaver Alpin expressed a commitment to being a good corporate neighbor and a source of employment opportunities for the community. The center will offer the brand's popular menu items, including Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, jerky, and pastries. Buc-ee's expects to hire at least 200 full-time employees for the new location.
