SUMMARY: A chaotic scene erupted outside the Hinds County Courthouse after a court hearing, with two families brawling and deputies hauling people off to jail. The fight started inside the courthouse and spilled outside, with Hinds County Supervisor David Archie trying to calm the situation. The brawl apparently started after a court judge dismissed an appeal for Derrick Coleman’s conviction for violating a protective order. Coleman, who has been missing for almost 5 months, was implicated in the disappearance of his wife, Latasha Crump Coleman. Despite large searches and reaching out to the FBI, there are no new leads. Five people were arrested and face disorderly conduct charges.
