Brasher Bayou dredging project digs for traction
SUMMARY: Local residents Kevin Firth and Bill Snyder discuss the issue of clogged waterways in Biloxi's Back Bay, caused by submerged aquatic vegetation and silt. This has led to a decrease in water depth and a need for dredging. The local city councilman has a plan to address the issue and get the water flowing again through this area, including Brasher Bayou. The clogged waterways have become a sticking point for the community, and local residents like Kevin Firth are advocating for necessary dredging to improve the situation.

Menge Avenue Interchange Update
SUMMARY: Construction on the M Avenue interchange has been ongoing for 10 months, with significant progress being made. The Ming Avenue overpass appears to be nearly finished, but there is still work to be done before it can be opened to traffic in the fall. Contractors are currently tying rebar for the bridge and will soon begin pouring concrete. The overpass is set to be completed in August, but other infrastructure improvements in the area will continue. Once roadways are finished, motorists will be allowed to use traditional ramp systems. Other developments in the area, such as Buckes laying their foundation, indicate ongoing construction activities along M Avenue.
