SUMMARY: The Vicksburg Gators are looking to continue their success after a historic 2022 season. Christopher Lacey takes over as head coach, coming back to his hometown. The players have been comfortable with the change, as Lacey was the defensive coordinator last year. There will be some new offensive strategies this season, giving Ronnie Alexander and Tyler Henderson more chances to shine. Vicksburg had one of their best seasons ever last year, winning their first district title since 1990. The system will still be familiar, but the team understands that they have to create their own success this year.
