Residents have shown appreciation for the crews, eagerly awaiting the power to be restored, which is expected in the next day or so. After power restoration, cleanup of tree debris and damaged poles will begin.

About 20 linemen from East River Electric traveled from South Dakota to help restore power in Pickens County, South Carolina.
