Bay Springs woman behind bars for making false 911 calls, terroristic threats

SUMMARY: A Bay Springs woman, Tenya Morgan, 64, was arrested for making multiple 911 calls and terroristic threats to city and county officials. She was attending a meeting at the Jasper County Emergency Management office and was asked to leave for being disruptive. Afterward, Morgan made several 911 calls claiming a flag was placed on her car window. When told no one would be charged, she threatened to shoot into multiple county and city buildings. Sheriff Randy Johnson described her as unruly and difficult to communicate with, raising concerns about her being a genuine threat. Morgan is held in Jasper County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
