Atlanta Braves host baseball clinic in Jackson
SUMMARY: The Atlanta Braves hosted a baseball training clinic at Smith Wills Stadium in Jackson, also known as the Hank Aaron Sports Academy. Despite the absence of the M-Braves, the Braves organization continues to positively impact the local community. Camp director Kevin Batista emphasized the personal benefits he’s gained from baseball and the importance of providing kids with memorable experiences. With over 25 years as an educator, he believes unifying baseball and learning fosters community engagement and enjoyment, creating a vibrant “Braves Country” atmosphere that energizes local ballparks. The event included food, fire trucks, and music for attendees.
The Atlanta Braves organization is still maintaining their presence in the Jackson metro area despite their minor league M-Braves franchise leaving the state. The Braves hosted a baseball clinic this weekend in Jackson to pour into the youth.

Family of Delta State student found hanging seeks answers

‘Little quiet light’: Family remembers Delta State University student found dead on campus
