Anthony Fox’s attorney discusses court’s decision to reverse conviction

SUMMARY: Former officer, Anthony Fox, has had his conviction reversed by the Mississippi Court of Appeals for the 2019 of George Robinson. Fox was initially in August 2022 for culpable negligence manslaughter. The court of appeals found that the evidence was not sufficient to the guilty verdict and there were errors during the trial. Medical opinions stated that Robinson's injuries were not consistent with claims. Fox's attorney expects his release soon. After the incident, Fox was hired by the Clinton Police Department, where he will resume his duties as a narcotics detective.

DA requests change in indictment for Oktibbeha Co. murder case

SUMMARY: Christopher Perkins was charged with murder and four counts of aggravated assault after a nine-year-old child was shot in a vehicle in Mississippi.
