This morning, the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual business update with Mayor Billy Hewes.
The sold-out event allowed chamber members to hear updates on progress across the city.
The mayor talked about infrastructure improvement, roads, the tramway bridge project linking the aquarium to Jones Park, the success of the inaugural Gumbo Festival, the boom in tourism, and Gulfport’s thriving area.
He also spoke on the continued growth along Pass Road.
To wrap up the address, Mayor Hewes incorporated a fun Christmas tale.
