American Red Cross breathing life into Tupelo CPR classes

SUMMARY: the American Red Cross North Mississippi chapters are now offering adult CPR and first aid classes once a month. The classes are held at the American Red Cross office and follow a blended learning format, which includes an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skills . The instructor's course will train candidates to teach basic level first aid, CPR, and AED courses. The importance of CPR and first aid is highlighted through the example of Demar Hamlin's being saved by trainers who were trained by the American Red Cross. Pre-registration is required for all classes and can be completed online.

Woman charged with kidnapping two Vicksburg children

The winning business, owned by April Culvert, has patented a product that makes nurses' easier by compartmentalizing Med carts.
