United Way hosts employability fair in Jackson

SUMMARY: Clinton police are investigating a fatal shooting near Northside Drive and Briers Drive. A man in his 30s was shot and died at the scene, according to the interim Hinds County coroner. Neighbors reported hearing gunfire before 10 a.m. and suspected a shootout between two people. During the incident, one vehicle crashed into a gas line near North Ridge Apartments, causing a gas leak. A resident was warned to evacuate for safety.
