Town of Marion reports upward trend in sales tax revenue

In the top of the first inning, a double play by the third baseman helped the Cougars get out of a tight spot. The game remained tied until the bottom of the third when Eli Holloway hit a solo home run, giving the Cougars their first lead. The Cougars held on to win 3-2 and advance to the north half championship series.
