Jackson man receives $17,000 water bill
SUMMARY: Samuel Harrison, a resident of Jackson, received his first water bill in months totaling nearly $117,000. Harrison was shocked by the amount as he and his girlfriend are the only occupants of the house and couldn't fathom how they could have used so much water. He suspects a leak near his home or a faulty water meter may be the cause. With the city's Water Crisis in mind, Harrison is adamant about not paying for water he can't even drink.
