6/13 – Trey Tonnessen's “Reality Check” Thursday Evening Forecast
SUMMARY: The weather on the Mississippi Gulf Coast has been pleasantly warm with low humidity, which is beneficial for the area. Temperatures are above average, remaining in the upper 80s to lower 90s. A boundary situated near the coast has helped divert tropical moisture away from the region, pushing it towards Texas and Florida. This has kept the Gulf Coast dry for now. However, the boundary is expected to dissipate over the weekend, allowing tropical moisture to seep in. Despite this, the forecast for the weekend remains mostly dry, with concerns about tropical weather being minimal at the moment.
