Police took Army reservist suspected in Maine killings for evaluation after erratic behavior in July
SUMMARY: An Army reservist suspected of killing at least 18 people in Maine had been taken for an evaluation by police after military officials became concerned about his erratic behavior in mid-July. The reservist, identified as Robert Card, was being trained at West Point in New York when military commanders became concerned for his safety and asked for police to be called. A warrant has been issued for Card's arrest on eight counts of murder, with more counts expected as the other victims are identified. SUMMARY: Jackson police arrested Larry Stewart, 44, in connection to a recent homicide on Gordon Street. The victim, Ceasar Abrego, was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting on April 28.
