Escaped inmate Jerry Raynes to be extradited back to Mississippi as early as Monday
Jerry Raynes, an escaped inmate captured in Texas earlier this week, is expected to be extradited back to Mississippi in the coming days.
Raynes, 51, waived his right to fight extradition in a 25-second court proceeding Friday after being captured Thursday at a hospital in Houston Heights. Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones told KHOU-TV that his team plans to pick up Raynes as early as Monday.

Mississippi woman accused of stealing $70K in SNAP benefits
SUMMARY: Katrina Harris from Pike County, Mississippi, was arrested for SNAP fraud after receiving nearly $70,000 in benefits by providing inaccurate information to the Mississippi Department of Human Service. She surrendered to authorities on March 26 after an investigation revealed she did not report household income and composition accurately. Senatobia mother says two teen daughters wrongfully arrested by police
SUMMARY: A Senatobia mother is seeking justice after her two daughters were wrongly arrested and sent to a juvenile facility in Corinth following a disturbance at a public housing project while police were collecting evidence from a shooting scene.
