SUMMARY: Oconee County dispatcher Katie Johns returned home after months of recovery from a medical emergency suffered while traveling in Ireland. Welcomed by colleagues and supportive messages, Johns expressed her gratitude for their effort. Due to her condition, she now requires a walker for mobility. Throughout her long recovery, she was inspired by Deputy Corporal Lucas Watts, who also faced significant challenges after being injured in a shooting. A college football fan, she hopes to watch her Florida State Seminoles play soon, attributing her recovery to faith and the power of prayer.

Budde’s sermon emphasized unity across diversity, but excluded conservative evangelicals from speaking roles. While some attendees criticized Budde’s message, others praised her direct appeal. Trump, however, dismissed the service, finding it unexciting. The event included music tailored to Trump’s preferences.
