11th Egg Bowl Run to take place on Nov. 19

SUMMARY: The Egg Bowl run is this Sunday, a 93-mile run uniting Mississippi State and Ole Miss. Laura Edwards, President of the Calhoun City Chamber of Commerce, explains that the run is on a Sunday to limit the rescheduling of exams for the cadets participating. The run includes a canned food drive to benefit local food pantries. The event will also feature activities for kids, a one mile Fun Run, and food trucks for participants. The run will start at 115 and food options include TNV Barbecue, Saxons, and Vonda’s Country Kitchen. The event aims to bring the community together for a good cause.

The 11th version of the Egg Bowl Run will take place on Sunday, Nov. 19 in Calhoun City.
