10/30- Carry an umbrella for your Halloween Plans
SUMMARY: Meridian experienced no measurable rainfall, marking 35 consecutive dry days since September 25th. If rain doesn’t come by tomorrow, Meridian could rank as the driest October on record. However, forecasts predict potential rain totals of 1 to 3 inches from a cold front sweeping through, which may affect Halloween plans. While there is an enhanced risk for severe weather, localized strong storms are possible. Patchy showers are expected on Halloween, with temperatures in the low to mid-80s, making for a warm but soggy evening for trick-or-treaters. Residents are advised to prepare for wet conditions.
