Northern Mississippi–

Sunny today with highs in the mid-70s. Tonight will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s.

Central Mississippi–

Sunny today with highs near 80. Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy with lows in the lower 60s.

Southern Mississippi–

Sunny today with highs in the lower 80s. Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy with lows in the mid-60s.

A heads up from the National Weather Service in Jackson regarding possible severe weather tomorrow:

Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible mainly Wednesday afternoon into the evening along and north of the I-20 corridor. An isolated strong to marginally severe storm will be possible. The primary hazard with this activity will be the risk of damaging wind gusts. Hail may reach up to quarter size.

Bryan Kohberger sentenced for murdering four University of Idaho students
