SUMMARY: This weekend, enjoy Disney on Ice at Cadence Bank Arena, bringing beloved Disney stories to life through world-class ice skating. Although there’s no football for the Bulldogs, Mississippi State’s women’s soccer team will kick off their NCAA tournament journey as the number one seed against Southern on Saturday at 5 p.m. in Starkville. For unique holiday gifts, the Happy Crafters event in Tupelo features 21 vendors and delicious food on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, learn about the importance of Mississippi bats at a special event at Natas Trace Parkway Visitor Center at 1 p.m.

Mississippi State is hosting a historic soccer match this weekend, and there are several fun events happening in Tupelo.

A high-pressure system will move in by Thursday, bringing well-above-average temperatures. Heat indices may reach 107–110 degrees by Friday, especially west of I-55 in Mississippi.
