Westside High School football team gives back to community
SUMMARY: Westside High School’s football team, led by new Head Coach Cedric Mason and Offensive Line Coach Marqus Jackson, is dedicating their off-weeks to community service, volunteering at Masters Table Soup Kitchen. Mason emphasizes building not just athletes but responsible men who give back to their community, showing gratitude to supporters beyond fundraising efforts. Jackson hopes their actions challenge negative stereotypes about youth and inspire others to volunteer locally. Senior Reonte Brown stresses that Westside should be known not just for sports, but for consistent community help, even without media attention. The team will next volunteer with Habitat for Humanity on September 27.

3 Georgia colleges hit by swatting calls in 1 night | FOX 5 News
