SUMMARY: Benjamin Song, the suspect in the July 4 ambush attack outside the Prairieland ICE detention center in Alvarado, Texas, was captured in Dallas by the FBI. Song, a Marine reservist and skilled shooter, is accused of being one of the shooters who injured an Alvarado police officer. The group involved wore military-style black clothing, used fireworks, sprayed graffiti, and fired on correctional officers. Song is the 14th person arrested related to the incident. Two others, John Thomas and Lynette Sharp, were charged with helping Song evade arrest and allegedly helped plan the attack via online chats. Song faces multiple attempted murder and firearm charges.
