Store evacuated following call about a suspicious package: police
SUMMARY: A mall in Durham was evacuated after a suspicious package was found near the Nordstrom store around 2:30 PM. Initially, only the Nordstrom area was closed, but the perimeter has since expanded, blocking all entrances and urging shoppers to leave safely. Police, bomb squad, hazmat, fire trucks, and paramedics remained on scene over three hours later. Shoppers reported police surrounding an SUV in the parking lot, inspecting it closely. Authorities have not disclosed package details but are treating the situation seriously. This follows a false alarm the previous night involving unsanctioned fireworks causing panic but no injuries.
Police are advising people to “avoid the area and to leave the area as quickly and safely as possible.”

TST Soccer Tournament set to kick off next week: Full Interview
SUMMARY: The TST Soccer Tournament kicks off next week with major growth since its 2023 debut. This year features 48 men’s teams and 16 women’s teams, doubling the women’s field since last year. Todd, Julie Chrisley released from prison after Trump pardon
