Trump says he will announce 25% steel and aluminum tariffs Monday, and more import duties are coming
SUMMARY: President Trump announced that the U.S. will impose 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports, including from Canada and Mexico. He also mentioned “reciprocal tariffs” for countries charging high duties on U.S. goods, expecting to announce details soon. Trump’s trade policies have caused financial market declines and growing inflation concerns among Americans. His recent comments prompted a meeting among South Korean officials to evaluate the potential impact on their steel industry, as South Korea exported significant steel to the U.S. last year. Additionally, Trump plans to delay tariffs on small packages until proper enforcement measures are established.

Trump diagnosed with chronic ailment | FOX 5 News
SUMMARY: President Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common vein condition affecting up to 40% of Americans, especially those over 70. This condition involves malfunctioning valves in superficial leg veins, causing blood pooling and mild swelling. Dr. Phillip Fleming explains it isn’t dangerous but can cause discomfort and requires management. Key treatments include wearing compression hose during long flights or standing periods, elevating legs multiple times daily, walking regularly, and managing weight. The condition is influenced by family history and lifestyle factors, like prolonged sitting or standing. It differs from deep vein thrombosis and does not impair Trump’s ability to perform as commander-in-chief.
President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with “chronic venous insufficiency,” the disease is common in older adults when little valves inside the veins that normally help move blood against gravity up the legs gradually lose the ability to work properly.

'Good Trouble Lives On' protests around coastal Georgia, Lowcountry
SUMMARY: Demonstrators across coastal Georgia and the Lowcountry joined the nationwide “Good Trouble Lives On” protests focusing on voting rights. Events in Savannah, Richmond Hill, Hinesville, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island featured voter registration drives and election information. Organizers, including Delta Sigma Zeta Sorority and Lowcountry Indivisible, condemned voter suppression, urging calls to Senators Graham and Scott to oppose the SAVE Act. This bill requires proof of U.S. citizenship to register for federal elections, potentially disenfranchising voters. While Democrats criticize it as restrictive, many Republicans, including Speaker Mike Johnson, support the law to ensure only U.S. citizens vote in elections.
