SUMMARY: Tropical Storm Debbie is intensifying, currently with 65 mph winds, and is expected to become a hurricane before making landfall in Florida’s Big Bend region. It will then meander through Georgia and the Carolinas, bringing potentially catastrophic rainfall. Heavy rain, flooding, tornadoes, and storm surges have already impacted Southwest Florida, particularly Tampa. Advisories are in effect for tropical storm and hurricane warnings across Florida and extending into the Carolinas. Over the next few days, some areas could see over 20 inches of rain, leading to significant flooding risks from North Florida to the Carolinas.

Tropical Storm Debby is drenching the coast of Florida. FOX 4’s Dylan Federico keeps an eye on the storm that is expected to become a hurricane and make landfall on Monday.

Perry supports Governor Abbott’s decision to deploy the National Guard to manage protests and commented on the halted Texas Dream Act, attributing its demise to immigration issues under the Biden administration.
