Overnight, Richmond and areas north might experience some showers and thunder. Friday will be cooler with a high of 70°F, mostly cloudy, and rain with thunder likely from midday into the afternoon, bringing up to half an inch in some areas. Evening activities should dry out by 6 PM. The weekend looks dry and pleasant with mid-70s temperatures. Next week, rain chances return Tuesday and Wednesday with about an inch or two expected across the region.
