SUMMARY: A stolen white F-250 truck led police on a chase in central Austin Thursday morning. The driver initially evaded state troopers, but was later spotted again and pursued. The chase ended when the truck crashed into a Cap Metro bus at East 53rd and Deval, pushing the bus into another vehicle and then a telephone pole. Two people fled on foot after the crash. Austin-Travis County EMS reported five injuries, none life-threatening, with three taken to Dell Seton Medical Center.
