Teen driver killed in Antioch street racing crash
SUMMARY: An 18-year-old teen driver died in Antioch after street racing another vehicle, losing control, and crashing into a home on Anderson Road. The Infiniti M37 first hit a mailbox, a van, and a light pole before slamming into the house. Homeowner Amir believes his van partially prevented greater damage and urges the city to install red lights or speed bumps to reduce speeding at the dangerous Anderson Road and Kenwood Drive intersection, which has seen multiple accidents in recent years. Councilman Jacob Coopin highlights increased Metro Police enforcement but calls for continued efforts to curb reckless driving and fatalities.

Both residents and city leaders have called for change following a deadly street racing-related crash that damaged properties in Antioch.

It’s not a reprint. Why Sacred Harp singers are revamping an iconic pre-Civil War hymnal
SUMMARY: Singers at Holly Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Georgia continue the 180-year-old tradition of Sacred Harp singing, a communal, four-part harmony style using the distinctive shape-note hymnal first published in 1844. Sacred Harp singing, done in a hollow square formation, is inclusive of all backgrounds and faiths, providing a spiritual and social experience beyond traditional church settings.
